Shannon Kenrick-Rochon completed a Masters of Nursing in Advanced Nursing Practice in 2016 and holds her Nurse Practitioner license in Ontario and Alberta with a specialty in primary health care. From a clinical perspective she practices in primary care, concussion care, Sports medicine and hormone replacement. She is an Assistant professor and curriculum renewal and program evaluation faculty analyst with NOSM university focused on major curriculum renewal in UME. She publishes research in process improvement, interprofessional care and concussion care strategies, including being the lead for Sudbury in establishing a provincial data set for concussion research in Ontario. She is an active alumni to Homeward Bound, a global community of female leaders in STEMM, and is currently preparing for an expedition to Antartica as part of a leadership mission against climate challenges. In her spare time, she shares her passion for volunteerism and sport with her husband and 2 children.
