Dr. Baldisera is from Sudbury and after completing her medical training in Ottawa, returned to work in community and hospital-based practice. As Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, UME at NOSM University, she is heavily involved in academic leadership and medical education. NOSM U provides the opportunity to combine her clinical practice, academic interests and scholarly work. She feels so fortunate to work alongside amazing colleagues in interprofessional concussion management as they pioneered a grassroots program for their community. They also continue to pursue research, advocacy and educational efforts related to sport, exercise and concussion management.
Her passions are sport, outdoor recreation and nature and the families, communities and connections they foster.
